North West London Jets FC Coaching Handbook
The NWLJ coaching handbook has exemplar materials to provide parents, players, managers and coaches with ideas for training session drills.
The coaching handbook covers dribbling, turning with the ball, beating an opponent, passing & receiving, controlling the ball, finishing, heading, defending and fitness drills involving footballs.
Training at NWLJ focuses on each players individual technical abilities with the focus being on educating each player in understanding why & when they would use the skills they learn in a match and how they can use these techniques as part of the team.
Each training session finishes with "Team Play", a match in which all players are encouraged to pass and move as well as practice the techniques which they have learnt during the training sessions in the match.
