The FA Respect Campaign

"Respect is the collective responsibility of everyone involved in football to create a fair, safe and enjoyable environment in which the game can take place. These are some of the outcomes from the 2010-11 season" (The FA Respect Programme).

The purpose of the FA Respect Campaign is to encourage football clubs to unite together in implementing measures to tackle unacceptable behaviour at grassroots football matches. Too often spectators and coaches put pressure on the players and show dissatisfaction with officials' decisions which, according to the Football Association, is leading to players and referees leaving the game.

The Respect Codes of Conduct are not just aimed at spectators and young players but also  managers, coaches and adult players.

How do we Aim to Tackle Unacceptable Behaviour?
By making all the aforementioned parties aware of the responsibilities in accordance with the FA Codes of Conduct and ensuring that all involved sign an agreement to uphold the codes thereby accepting responsibility for their actions and any consequences if they break the codes of conduct.

In addition we have our own Club rules and codes of conduct which reinforce the respect codes of conduct.
